Three very musical HIS Students Joelle, Wolfie, and Hermione competed in this year’s Jugend Musiziert competition in Heidelberg, each earning 1st Prize in their respective age category. All three play the violin. 
 

Jugend Musiziert is a German music competition for young people in its 62nd year. The students prepare a challenging repertoire on their instruments and play it in front of a Jury of experts who evaluate their performance on a points system.  
 

In the more advanced age categories, students who earn a top score advance to the regional (Baden Würtemberg) level of the competition. Wolfie advanced to the regionals and competes again on Thursday,  April 3rd.
